Current details:
Lake effect snow squalls continuing until early Saturday morning.

Hazards:
Local snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm by early Saturday morning.
Additional snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm possible Saturday night into Sunday.
Visibilities may be reduced to near zero in heavy snow.

Now through early Saturday morning. Additional heavy snowfall Saturday night into Sunday.

Discussion:
Snow squalls are forecast to continue today before coming to an end tonight as winds shift to the southwest. Additional heavy flurries and snow squalls are expected Saturday night into Sunday.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Road closures are possible.
