On May 6, 2022 at 5:22 p.m., officers from the Huntsville OPP responded to a call for service for a head on collision.
Officers located the collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 60 in the area of Harp Lake Road. The collision involved two SUV’s.
Highway 60 was closed in both directions as OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist completed their on scene investigation.
Three people, a 66-year old female driver, 49-year-old male driver and his passenger a 45-year-old female were transported by Muskoka Paramedic Services to a local hospital. The 66-year-old female was later taken by Ornge air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is still ongoing and further information will be released when it becomes available.
