The Township of Lake of Bays’ Public Works Department is thrilled to announce that our annual Spring Grading Campaign is currently in full swing. Our dedicated team, in collaboration with a contracted grader, has been diligently working to enhance and maintain the quality of our gravel roads.
The safety of their staff and the public is the top priority. As such, the Township would like to emphasize the importance of caution when near grading equipment and when driving on freshly graded roads. Aggregate on freshly graded roads can be particularly hazardous, especially on corners and when driving at excessive speeds.
