The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged an Oro-Medonte resident with impaired driving following a collision, as stated in a press release issued yesterday.

OPP, Simcoe County Paramedics, Oro-Medonte Fire and Hydro One responded to reports of a single vehicle that had struck a hydro pole on Line 12 South in Oro-Medonte Township yesterday at about 2:40 pm. It was also reported that the driver, who appeared intoxicated, suffered minor injuries and was attempting to exit their vehicle when authorities arrived.
