– The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting a Police Week event at the Orillia Recreation Centre this week.
Orillia OPP officers, OPP members from Central Region Emergency Response Team, OPP members from Central Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, OPP Recruitment and OPP Cadets will be there to speak with. Other numerous community partners will be in attendance as well, including but not limited to: Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Crisis Workers, Victim Services,
The Lighthouse, Crime Stoppers and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Each partner will have a booth at the Orillia Recreation Centre, located at 255 West St S, in the City of Orillia on Thursday May 16, Friday May 17, and Saturday May 18 from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00p.m.
Come on out, meet some police officers and see what resources we have locally in the community.
