Fraudsters may also use fraudulent investment opportunities, online marketplace transactions, emergency scams involving family members and romance scams to obtain money.

Romance scams are another growing concern, with fraudsters using dating websites, social media, and online messaging platforms to establish relationships with unsuspecting individuals.
