In celebration of National Palliative Care Week, representatives from Hospice Huntsville and the Town of Huntsville participated in the Hospice flag raising at Huntsville Town Hall last Friday.
On Sunday participants from the Hike for Hospice were able to proudly see the flag on their hike routes.
Hospice Huntsville extends their thanks to the Town of Huntsville for this opportunity to raise awareness of hospice and palliative care in the community.
Hospice Huntsville and the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) are proud to celebrate National Hospice Palliative Care Week 2023 from May 7th to May 13th. This year’s campaign theme is “Palliative Care Everywhere,” emphasizing the importance of ensuring comprehensive and quality palliative care is accessible to every person facing a life-limiting illness, regardless of their setting of care or their postal code.
