Western Algonquin Park – Lake of Two Rivers
Parry Sound – Muskoka
Haliburton
Fenelon Falls – Balsam Lake Park – Northern Kawartha Lakes

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect beginning this afternoon.

Hazards:
Snowfall amounts of 7 to 14 cm.
Risk of freezing rain.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow at times.

Timing:
This afternoon into tonight.

Discussion:
Snow is forecast to begin near noon today. The snow may become mixed with freezing rain or ice pellets at times this afternoon. Snow may change to or become mixed with rain tonight.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
