Members of the Orillia OPP Detachment have located and arrested two people for a reported theft.
On May 19, 2023, around 7:00 p.m., Orillia OPP officers were dispatched to a local business for a reported theft. Two individuals were arrested upon police arrival. Officers located a prohibited weapon and suspected fentanyl upon searching the individuals.
As a result Miroslav Gligoric a 41 year-old, of Barrie has been charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Failure to comply with prohibition order
- Possession of a schedule I substance
- Possession of a prohibited device
- Theft under $5,000; and
Lindsey Hill, 37 years-old, of Barrie has been charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Failure to comply with undertaking
- Theft under $5,000
