Three Arrested In Midland Shoplifting Incidents

Three individuals were arrested in separate shoplifting incidents in Midland this week, according to the Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), according to a press release.

The first arrest occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m. on October 16, when officers responded to a theft at the Penetanguishene Foodland. Trevor Wade King, 33, of Christian Island, was apprehended and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

Earlier that same day, at 2:36 p.m., police were called to the Midland No Frills, where Tyler Copegog, 22, of Midland, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

On October 15, at approximately 1:44 p.m., officers responded to a theft at the Midland LCBO. Sarah Whitehead, 24, of Barrie, was charged with shoplifting and possession of stolen property.

All three suspects are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 28.
