Soldiers’ Ride Returns For Its 4th Year With New Routes And New Opportunities To Support Local Healthcare

The Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation is excited to announce the return of the 4th annual Soldiers’ Ride proudly presented by TD Bank Group, taking place Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Quayle’s Brewery. This year’s event introduces a new 30 km cycling route and refreshed 50 km, and 100 km cycling routes, offering options for riders of all skill levels to enjoy the scenic landscapes of Simcoe-Muskoka while raising funds for exceptional local healthcare.
Soldiers’ Ride has quickly become a signature community event. Since its launch, riders, donors, and sponsors have collectively raised an impressive $465,000 to support Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH).
“There’s nothing more rewarding than coming together for a great ride through our beautiful community, especially when every kilometer helps raise vital funds for our local hospital,” says Ashley Brown, The Crank & Sprocket Bicycle Co. and Soldiers’ Ride Committee Chair.
Participants will begin and end their ride at Quayle’s Brewery, a long-standing partner of the event. Riders can look forward to a lively event village, scenic countryside routes, and a sense of shared purpose as they support local healthcare close to home.
“The ongoing success of Soldiers’ Ride demonstrates the strength and heart of our community,” says Perry Esler, President & CEO of the OSMH Foundation. “Each year, cyclists show up with incredible energy and generosity. Their commitment helps ensure our hospital can continue delivering high‑quality, compassionate care for patients and families across the region.”
All funds raised through Soldiers’ Ride help equip OSMH with the resources needed to provide modern, life‑saving care for generations to come.
Cyclists can register individually, with friends or family, or as part of a corporate team. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
