Update – The lone occupant involved in this collision was transported to hospital however, has sadly succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. He is identified as Jason Cowan, 47 years old of Tiny Township.
The investigation is ongoing, no charges have been laid.

Simcoe County Road 6 in Tiny Township is closed for an investigation of a serious collision. Just after 4 a.m. on June 12, 2022, Southern Georgian Bay OPP were alerted to a vehicle in the ditch in the area of County Road 6 between Concession 14 and Concession 15 of Tiny Township. One person has been transported to a local hospital by Simcoe County Paramedics.
The collision remains under investigation and the roadway will be closed for several hours. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage are asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
