The Orillia OPP are investigating a weapons incident in the area of Woodside Drive and Mississauga.
On March 24, 2024, at approximately 5:29 p.m., Orillia OPP were dispatched to a call regarding an incident near Woodside Drive and Mississauga involving a possible firearm. Orillia OPP responded immediately setting up containment of the area. Shortly after a 27 year old male was taken into custody without incident.
The Orillia OPP considers this an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
