Members of the Orillia Detachments Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid multiple drug related charges after assistance from the public led to information about two individuals completing drug transactions in a residential building in Orillia.
On October 24, 2024, shortly after 6 a.m., the Orillia Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the Orillia OPP frontline enforcement officers, arrested two individuals after information received from the public led to evidence of drug trafficking in a local residential building on Fittons Road West near Park Street in the City of Orillia. The individuals were taken into custody without incident and have been charged with multiple drug trafficking charges after a quantity of drugs were seized.
As a result of the investigation, the following was seized:
· 1.2 grams of fentanyl
· 2 grams of methamphetamine
· 20 grams Cocaine
· 35 mixed capsules
· Cellular device
Susanne Brady, 56 years old, of Orillia, has been charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Michael Dillman, 51 years old, of Orillia, has been charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia on November 26, 2024, to answer to the charges.
