Youth in our community caught using safety equipment may find themselves rewarded with a coupon for a free small Froster.

Bracebridge OPP say they will be on the lookout for children in the community who are actively using safety equipment such as wearing bicycle helmets, life jackets and seatbelts.

The province-wide Operation Freeze Campaign will be taking place during the summer months. Through a partnership with Circle K Convenience Stores, OPP officers will be handing out “Positive Tickets” to children who ‘Get Caught’ exhibiting these good habits.

This project hopes to develop positive interactions between youth in the community and our police officers, as well as encourages good behaviours.
