OPP Make Arrest After Several Vehicles Stolen From Orillia Recreation Centre

The Orillia OPP have arrested one youth in relation to the theft of motor vehicle investigations from an Orillia area public access facility.

On numerous occasions throughout March 2023, Orillia OPP responded to calls for service for motor vehicles being stolen from a parking lot.

On April 5th, 2023, as a result of the ongoing investigation, a 16-year-old youth was arrested and charged with the following:

– Theft of motor vehicle x3
– Possession of Property obtained by crime.

The identity of the accused will be withheld as it is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
