Haliburton Highlands OPP say they have charged a driver with operation while impaired as a result of a traffic complaint.
On June 17, 2021, at 8:11 p.m., police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on County Road 121. Officers located the vehicle a short while later.
62-year-old Clinton Saft of Minden Hills Township, was arrested and charged with operation while impaired- alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in Minden, court on July 7, 2021. Their driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days.
