Muskoka Chrysler is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a Parts Advisor position. The Parts Advisor would be working in a fast-paced automotive setting overseeing interactions with technicians, customers over the phone or in person, while using a computerized parts look up system. The Parts Advisor will also help clean and maintain parts department as needed
Main Responsibilities:
- Responds to and handles customer inquiries either on the phone or in person within a timely manner
- Follows ordering processes for customer and Service Department
- Stock shelves and merchandise
- Processes returns and warranty as required
- Makes sure of inventory accuracy and check, report on low stock levels
- Able to deal with challenging situations in a professional manner
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Automotive knowledge an asset but willing to train
- Basic math and typing skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to listen to instructions
- Able to work as a team
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and work ethic
- Able to multitask in many situations
- Excellent people skills
- Dealership experience an asset
- Able to stand and walk for 8 hours
- Lift and carry various items on a regular basis in varying weight.
