Communications Operators play an integral role in keeping communities safe by providing life-saving assistance to individuals in crisis, and by dispatching calls to frontline Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers. PCCNB is now seeking applications from English and bilingual applicants. Members of the public who are interested in finding out more about career opportunities as a Communications Operator with the OPP are invited to attend an information session. Representatives from the PCCNB and PCC Recruitment will provide information about employment opportunities and the application process for Communication Operator roles.

PCCNB operates 24-hours per day, seven days per week to answer 911 emergency and non-emergency calls for service and to dispatch officers. Communications Operators work in a fast-paced environment where speed and accuracy are critical in urgent and sometimes life-threatening emergencies.
