The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating and searching for a missing person on Lake St George.
On April 26, 2024, at approximately 5:06 p.m., Orillia OPP, Severn Fire, and Simcoe County Paramedics, responded to a reports of a missing person last seen in the water on Lake St George in Severn Township. Emergency resources have been deployed to the lake are conducting a search. Orillia OPP ask all residents to check their respective properties for any signs of the missing individual.
