Drive Muskoka is proud to announce the success of their annual Drive For Your Hospital Tent Event. In its 10th year, this event continues to raise much needed funds for Huntsville Hospital. The fundraiser, which ran from August 1-31, generously donated $200 from each vehicle sold at Huntsville Dodge, Huntsville Honda and Hyundai of Muskoka. Each buyer had the choice of hospital between Huntsville Hospital Foundation, South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and West Parry Sound Health Centre.
This year, Drive Muskoka has successfully raised an impressive amount of $31,800 to support lifesaving equipment at Huntsville Hospital! In total they will be donating $40,600 across all 3 hospital foundations – $3,800 will be going to West Parry Sound and $5000 to South Muskoka. The sales team were all smiles and felt good about the donation and giving back to their community.
This event is a shining example of how businesses and the community can come together to make a lasting impact. Drive Muskoka and Huntsville Hospital Foundation are already looking forward to future partnerships that will continue to benefit the health and wellness of our community. This wonderful and unique community fundraising event has raised over $179,800 for Huntsville Hospital since it first started in 2015.
Muskoka Regional Manager Jef Green told The Foundation “We are thrilled to be celebrating our tenth year giving back to local hospitals in the Muskoka region. We are simply doing our part to invest in the future healthcare of our community. We look forward to continuing this event year after year.”

Here we are in the 10th year and the excitement to raise funds for our hospital has been amazing! We feel like we are part of the Drive Muskoka Family, the enthusiasm and hard work that this team dedicates to the month of August is contagious…… so many cars purchased in one month! Our community has great things to look forward to with the new MRI coming and a new hospital on the horizon, it’s comforting to know that we have Drive Muskoka and their team behind us! Huntsville Hospital Foundation is a fundraising organization dedicated to improving healthcare services for residents of Muskoka and East Parry Sound. A registered charity since 1984, its mandate is to provide ongoing capital and education resources for Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
