Row & Roast Coffee Co. To Open Its Doors This Month
Two local Muskoka businesses are brewing up a new partnership between Huntsville’s Deerhurst Resort and Muskoka Roastery. Row & Roast Coffee Co. is set to open its doors in the main building of Deerhurst Resort this month, serving and selling Muskoka Roastery coffee to guests and local patrons. “We are very excited to add this new gathering place to our Resort and to create a new space for our guests to enjoy. This addition represents the first of several new exciting changes we are working on with the support of our owners at Freed Hotels & Resorts” shares Andrew Buwalda, General Manager at Deerhurst Resort.
Director of Food & Beverage and longtime advocate for Muskoka’s ‘eat local’ movement, Rory Golden adds “It was important to us to offer not only a premium product, but a chance for patrons to discover just one more reason why Muskoka is so special, and that’s because of the local talent and businesses that live here”. As a founding member of Savour Muskoka (alongside Muskoka Roastery’s Patricia Snell), Golden has weaved in initiatives to support local suppliers and feature artisan ingredients throughout his tenure at the resort.

Row & Roast Coffee Co. will offer a selection of coffee and espresso beverages. Alongside classic americanos and frothy cappuccinos, the Deerhurst culinary team will serve their fresh baked goods and snacks made in-house. Patrons will also have the chance to take home a taste of Muskoka with bags of Muskoka Roastery coffee on sale in the cafe. The cafe will be open to guests and public daily from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm as both an on-the-go option or a cozy spot to sit and work, read, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee.
