Huntsville OPP Find Impaired Driver At A Local Business

The Huntsville OPP has taken another impaired driver off the road in the Town of Huntsville.

On September 23, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Huntsville OPP responded to a report of a possible impaired driver at a business on Aspdin Road, in the Town of Huntsville. Upon arrival, the police investigation resulted in the arrest of the individual.

As a result of the investigation, Jeremy Baynes, a 41-year-old of Acton, was charged with:
· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on November 5, 2024. The accused also had their drivers license suspended for 90 days, and vehicle impounded for seven days.
