Bracebridge OPP Has Charged Driver With Impaired Driving

(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged another driver with impaired driving.

On Friday February 27, 2026 at 11:35 a.m., a Bracebridge OPP officers was on patrol in the town of Bracebridge, conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Street and entered into a Highway Traffic Act investigation. During the officers investigation, alcohol became a factor to consider and police subsequently arrested and charged 31-year-old Jacob HARDING of Port Carling, ON with Impaired Operation – Over 80. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 14, 2026 to answer to his charge.
