On May 4, 2023, at 11:58 p.m. members of the Powassan OPP were dispatched to a single Commercial Motor Vehicle collision (CMV) on Highway 11 in the Powassan area.
The northbound CMV left the paved portion of the highway, broke through the cable guardrails, and rolled down a steep embankment. The lone vehicle occupant suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Police are continuing the investigation and more information will be provided when it becomes available.
