Three Charged In Connection With A Robbery In Tiny Township

Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded at 11:43 p.m. February 18, 2022 to a report of a robbery involving a firearm by three individuals at a home on Moreau Parkway, Tiny Township.

OPP officers attended the scene and commenced an investigation which later resulted in a suspect vehicle being located southbound on Highway 27 in Springwater Township.

The vehicle failed to stop for police when directed and was strategically followed by officers who effectively deployed a tire deflation device in the southbound lanes of Highway 400 and Horseshoe Valley Road.

The vehicle later went of the road at the intersection of Forbes and Russell Roads with the occupants fleeing the scene.

Police at the scene located and arrested without incident the three vehicle occupants and recovered a quantity of stolen property.

Charged in connection to this investigation are the following individuals.

Braydon Hunter 25 years of Toronto

  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order – other than to attend court (four counts)

Roniel Israilov 21 years of Toronto and

Michael Gilaouris-Pluska 26 years of York

  • Flight from Peace Officer
  • Dangerous Operation (two counts)

The three accused persons are also jointly charged with the following offences

  • Robbery Using Firearm
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Obstruct Peace Officer
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

All three accused have a future court date.
