Male Arrested For Threatening Staff At Orillia Business

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a male after he threatened staff members at a local downtown business.

On October 4, 2024, shortly after 2:00 pm, a male entered into a downtown establishment on Mississaga St E. and threatened physical harm towards three staff members. The male would flee the business prior to police arrival. However, after further investigation police were able to locate a male fitting the description and place him under arrest .

Cameron Henry, 27 year old, of Orillia has been charged with the following:

  • Adult Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm x 3
  • Adult Assault x 3

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing
