Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Brian Twyne of Victoria Harbour. He matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the February 11, 2022 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000.
Brian, a 38-year-old father, said he’s a regular lottery player who always adds ENCORE. “I was half asleep when I checked my ticket on the OLG App. I noticed the screen looked different and then started counting the zeroes,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “After the third time scanning it, I showed my wife. She screamed with joy – it was a great way to wake up!”
Brian said this win comes at a perfect time for his family. “We’ve been impacted by the pandemic, so this means some happier times ahead.”
He plans to complete some work around the house, save some, and travel with his family. “We’re planning a road trip to Newfoundland in the summer,” he smiled.
