The Town of Huntsville is launching a new 24-hour Short Term Rental Accommodation Hotline to help expedite concerns from residents regarding non-compliant properties beginning March 8, 2024.
Huntsville’s Bylaw Department has engaged the services of Granicus’ 24-hour Hotline, which will notify property managers in charge of Short Term Rental Accommodation 24 hours a day of concerns, and ensure accurate documentation should the infraction result in a charge through the Bylaw Department. Huntsville selected this tool to help respond to after hours complaints, improving efficiency and quality of life for residents, property owners, and visitors.
Anyone utilizing this service can lodge complaints by calling 705-990-3438, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers can expect a live representative when complaints are filed through the phone line, and where applicable a follow up will be provided. All concerns recorded through these services will be circulated to the Bylaw Department for further enforcement as required.
