Karen, a mother and grandmother, says she always plays the same numbers and always says yes to ENCORE. “I checked my ticket at the store and at first I didn’t believe it. I thought it was a $1,000 win,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
The 67-year-old says she told her daughters about her win right away. “They’re so happy for me,” she smiled.
Karen plans to help her children and plan some family vacations.
“The feeling hasn’t hit me yet – it’s an unbelievable thing,” she concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer on Bowes Street in Parry Sound.
