The safety and well-being of Near North District School Board (NNDSB) staff and students is top priority. Overnight, North Bay Police Services investigated a possible threat to Chippewa Secondary School and were able to quickly determine that there was no threat to staff or students.
The NNDSB would like to thank those who brought this to the attention of the police and administration, allowing for a quick resolution and confirming the safety of staff and students to attend the school. We appreciate the actions and communication of the North Bay Police Services throughout the investigation.
Chippewa Secondary School will be open as usual on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
