On Thursday May 5, 2022 at 1:30 a.m. Bracebridge OPP officers were conducting general patrol in the town of Gravenhurst when they observed a vehicle travelling on Highway 11 with heavily tinted windows.
A traffic stop was conducted and after an investigation police arrested and charged 20-year-old Dylan Bannister of Port Kilworthy with Operation While Impaired, and Over 80.
The accused was also charged under with numerous offences under the Highway Traffic Act and the Cannabis Control Act.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge, ON on May 31, 2022 to answer to his charges. Furthermore, his driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
