Members of the Orillia OPP were contacted at approximately 11:58 a.m. regarding a male who had gone fishing and failed to return home at the scheduled time.
The OPP located an abandon boat in the Bass Lake area.
The OPP Marine Unit, OPP Aviation Services and Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) are currently searching the area for the missing male.
Shoreline property owners in the Bass Lake area are encouraged to search their property water line.
