Members of the Orillia Detachment of the OPP are appealing to the public to assist in identifying two suspects and a vehicle after an assault with a weapon incident on Cumberland Road in the area of Cumberland Beach.
On February 27, 2022, shortly after 11 p.m., police responded to a call where a male and female had knocked on a residence door looking for assistance. During the conversation, the female suspect assaulted the resident. Both suspects then fled in an unknown vehicle in an unknown direction.

- Wearing a white winter jacket, jeans and white shoes, with a black purse

- Scruffy facial hair
- Short buzzed hair
- Wearing a black jacket
Police believe this to be an isolated incident. Local residents are asked to check security cameras and report any suspicious persons or activity to police.
