New Executive Director At Bracebridge Chamber Of Commerce

The Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce has conducted our interview and hiring process and we are excited to introduce our new Executive Director moving forward, Amanda Dale-St Pierre (she/they).

 

 

Amanda has lived and done business within Muskoka since 2017 and grew up travelling with her father to check their family trap lines in the region.

Since 2015, Amanda has been the CEO of Bear Waters Gathering – an Indigenous Cultural Safety Corporate Training Organization. They’ve managed all elements of a profitable business including day-to-day operations, financials, budget/cost analysis, marketing, new business development and client relations. Amanda is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers completing her undergraduate degree at Toronto Metropolitan University. Amanda completes their master’s degree with Laurier University and First Nations Technical Institute in May of 2023.

She is a dedicated, award-winning Advocacy Professional with extensive experience in business entrepreneurship, operational management, program coordination and facilitation. Amanda is well-versed in promoting principals of diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism and accessibility. They have made significant progress in advancing legislative and policy changes over her 22-year career. They demonstrate exceptional business acumen in day-to-day operations of an independent consultative service and has engaged in joint ventures with large organizations, companies and financial industries to develop multi-faceted programs. Amanda values ongoing engagement in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action in every aspect of their work.

Amanda is extremely excited to have accepted the position of Executive Director with the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to meeting the members and engaging in meaningful work. She is committed to ensuring that chamber members have a strong voice because when our members thrive, our entire community thrives.
