An update to a story we first told you about Sunday night.
Bracebridge OPP and Muskoka Paramedic Services responded to an incident on Bethune Drive near Violet Street in Gravenhurst on Sunday, May 30 at 8:10 p.m. involving a transport truck and a pedestrian. The pedestrian mounted the transport truck and a confrontation ensued that resulted in the man falling as the truck was put into motion. The operator of the truck fled the scene and is still outstanding. The transport is described as a blue Freightliner conventional bearing Ontario Marker BK46352.
The pedestrian, a 47-year-old Gravenhurst man, was transported to hospital and later transferred to a Toronto area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Well….Im sorry he is hurt but what an idiot to mount a truck with confrontational words to begin with. People….the world and drivers are not taking any crap anymore so be careful who you decide to spar with. It’s nuts out there.
You don’t have all the facts about the “why” of the confrontation. Perhaps not a wise decision in the moment, but there was a reason the driver was leaving and why attempts to stop the driver were being made. More to the story. Please don’t assume. As the investigation continues the truth will come out.
