The OPP is reminding Ontario residents and tourists that being well-informed about Ontario safe boating practices and laws will help ensure an enjoyable and tragedy-free summer on the water. Alcohol/drug-impaired operation of a motorized marine vessel is DANGEROUS. Please call 9-1-1 if you suspect someone on the water to be impaired by alcohol or drugs. In doing so this could be saving lives, including your own.
So i guess “Beer on the Pier” isn’t working. Need to come up with something better
Throw the entire book at this criminal. This is nothing new on our lakes. Set an example that we need to make these tragedies end.
Wide open space and this happens. How drunk do you have to be!!! Jail sentence I hope.
Charges seem insignificant given the potential. Happy to hear the injuries were not severe.
Glad no one died. Maybe we should look at removing all Sea doos from the lakes.
