The Orillia OPP have laid impaired driving charges in relation to a two-vehicle collision in Ramara Township.
On February 18, 2022, at 5:13 p.m., Orillia OPP responded to a collision involving two passenger vehicles on Highway 12 at Rama Road.
One driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries, and subsequently charged.
As a result of the investigation, Leslie Becher, 63 years of age, of Port Perry, has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams and operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia, on March 22, 2022.
