Recent graduate? Retired and looking for a way to give back? Join us tomorrow at the Muskoka Care Career Expo!

Join the District of Muskoka and other Long-Term Care partners tomorrow, Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. at the Muskoka Care Career Expo!

Are you a recent graduate, have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent, or looking for a job that can provide growth and career advancement? If you’ve always wanted to start a fulfilling and rewarding career in Care, providing residents with a better quality of life each and every day – now has never been a better time to start.

Are you a retiree, or are you an individual with extra time to make a difference in our community?  Long-term care homes rely so much on dedicated volunteers to support residents.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only staff members and essential caregivers are currently permitted to enter the homes.  Until those restrictions are no longer required, please consider a post-retirement career in Care that would allow you to support residents in a similar way that you might have as a volunteer.  It’s a way you can give back to your community today!

The Muskoka Care Career Expo will bring together interested community members with hiring Care employers in Muskoka.  Learn how to start and grow your Care career – you may even land a job on the spot!

When? Tomorrow – Thursday, May 27, 2021 between 1 – 4 p.m.

Where? Register for the virtual event here: www.muskoka.on.ca/carecareerexpo
