Bracebridge OPP officers were conducting general patrol when they observed a broken down vehicle on Talisman Drive in Gravenhurst.
Police subsequently arrested and charged 39 year-old Steven Brennan of Barrie, ON with Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Schedule 1 Substance and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 5, 2022 to answer to his charges.
Police have also charged 35 year-old Andrew Ward of Huntsville, with Possession of Schedule 1 Substance and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
The accused remains in custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge today for a bail hearing.
