The Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission (L.C.P.W.C.) is running a fun, new contest to name the two harvesters and barge seen regularly in the canals during the summer months.
Submit your creative and fun names for your chance to win one of three $50 gift certificates to a local Ramara business. The winning names will be announced at the Thursday, April 13, 2023, Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission meeting and featured on the equipment.
How to Enter
- Brainstorm a fun name for the L.C.P.W.C. equipment.
- Visit the online contest submission form at ramara.ca/haveyoursay
- Complete the form with your name suggestions, full name and contact information.
Contest Rules
- The Name our Harvester contest is open to all Ramara residents – one entry per resident.
- All submissionsmust be respectful and appropriate.
- The contest closesWednesday, April 5, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.
- The winners will be announced during the Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission meeting on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
- The contest winners will be notified by email or telephone and will receive a $50 gift certificate to a local business.
- Only one prize per person.
