On July 28th, 2025, at around 6:30 p.m., Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to a single vehicle collision involving a fire truck on Goreville Rd in Laurier Township. As a result, a 52 year-old person, from South River was charged with careless driving and drive CMV with air brake no endorsement.
The driver was also issued a 3-day warn range administrative suspension.
There were no injuries and the vehicle was removed by tow.
