A man has been arrested on multiple weapons charges after allegedly threatening another person with a firearm, the Ontario Provincial Police said Thursday in a press release.
The Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to a call in the early hours of October 17 after reports that a person had been threatened with a gun at a residence in Ryerson Township. Later that evening, officers executed a search warrant at the home, seizing several firearms and ammunition, according to authorities.
Marc Reaman, 39, of Burks Falls, faces a long list of charges, including assault with a weapon, making death threats, and unauthorized possession of multiple firearms. He also faces charges related to the careless storage and handling of the weapons, police said.
Reaman has been remanded into custody following a bail hearing.
