Southern Georgian Bay OPP were dispatched to not one, but two suspected impaired driving incidents on June 10, 2021 as a result of members of the public “making the call” to police.
At 8:24 p.m. officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Champlain Road at Clearview Crescent, Tiny Township with a possible impaired driver being involved. The driver of the vehicle Andrew Taylor Logan age 25 of Etobicoke was the subject of an drinking and driving investigation resulting in the following:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous operation
The accused has a court date set for the end of June.
Just after 2 p.m. officers again responded to a possible impaired driver complaint on Little Lake Park Road, Midland. The suspect vehicle was located and the driver became the subject of a drinking and driving investigation resulting in Tony Miller age 56 of Midland being charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has a court date for the end of June.
