On Saturday May 18, 2024, shortly after 9:30 am, a member of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was responding to a call for service and became involved in a motor vehicle collision on County 21 in the Township of Minden Hills.
The collision involved an OPP cruiser and a passenger vehicle. County Road 21 between Caribou Road and Robertson Road was closed both ways until approximately 3:00 pm. Both drivers and one passenger were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, and all were cleared on May 18, 2024.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team (TIME) is investigating this collision.
