On March 19, 2022 Crime Unit members of the West Parry Sound OPP, responded to a complaint of sexual assault in Parry Sound.
As a result of the investigation and with the assistance of the OPP Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Karl Wwalker, 55 years-of-age of Niagara Falls, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
- Sexual interference
- Traffic in person under 18 years of age
- Administer noxious thing – Methamphetamine
- Administer noxious thing – Crack Cocaine
- Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age
- Failure to comply with release order
- Traffic in schedule I substance – Cocaine
- Traffic in schedule I substance – Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth),
- Possession of a schedule I substance – Cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance – Opioid (other than heroin),
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 6, 2022 in Parry Sound.
