Muskoka Timber Mills Joins Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Business Cares Program With $25,000 Pledge

The Huntsville Hospital Foundation is proud to welcome Muskoka Timber Mills as our newest Business Cares partner. They have made a significant commitment to local healthcare, joining the Foundation’s Business Cares program with a $25,000 pledge.

Through the Business Cares program, local businesses invest in the future of Huntsville Hospital by helping fund vital medical equipment and technology that are not fully covered by government funding. Muskoka Timber Mills’ participation will help ensure patients and healthcare professionals have access to the tools they need to deliver exceptional care, close to home.

“Community support is essential to the strength of our hospital,” said Katherine Craine, CEO, Huntsville Hospital Foundation. “We are grateful to Muskoka Timber Mills for stepping forward as a Business Cares partner and for recognizing the important role local businesses play in sustaining high-quality healthcare in Muskoka.”

As a locally rooted company, Muskoka Timber Mills understands the value of strong community partnerships. Their support through Business Cares demonstrates a shared commitment to the health and well-being of residents, families, and visitors throughout the region.

“At Muskoka Timber Mills, we understand that a strong community is built on a foundation of care. We are proud to join the Business Cares program with this $25,000 pledge because ensuring our staff, customers, and neighbours have access to high-quality healthcare close to home is a priority for us. It’s about more than just business; it’s about investing in the future and the health of the place we all call home,” said Alan Lever, Chairman of Muskoka Timber Mills. “Innovation and precision are at the heart of what we do, and we believe our local healthcare should be supported by those same standards. By supporting the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, we are helping to provide our healthcare professionals with the vital medical equipment and modern technology they need to deliver exceptional care. We are honored to play a part in sustaining such an essential service for the Muskoka region.”

Since its launch, in January 2016 the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Business Cares initiative has brought together business leaders who believe in investing locally to create lasting impact. Contributions through the program help HHF advance priority projects and equip Huntsville Hospital with modern technology to meet growing healthcare needs. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses who believe in investing in quality healthcare close to home, the initiative continues to grow, and more business leaders continue to step up in support of our hospital.
