Bruce Peninsula – Sauble Beach – Tobermory,
Current details:
Snow squall development is possible Saturday into Sunday.
Hazards:
Total snowfall amounts approaching 25 cm over a few locations.
Reduced visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow.
Timing:
Saturday morning through to Sunday afternoon.
Discussion:
Snow squalls are expected to develop over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay Saturday and Sunday. Total amounts near 25 cm are possible by the time these snow squalls move south of the area Sunday evening.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
