On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, around 6:20 a.m., officers of the Orillia OPP Detachment responded to a traffic complaint called in by a member of the public on Laclie Street near Fittons Road East in the City of Orillia. Upon arriving, officers located the suspect vehicle and the driver in a state of undress. An impaired driving investigation commenced by officers on scene.
The driver was transported to the Orillia Detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Kenneth Lough, 42-year-old of Kilworthy, is facing the following charges:
– Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
– Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
– Nudity and Indecent Exposure
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
The passenger of the vehicle, Shelley Monteith, 60-year-old of Kilworthy, is facing the following charge:
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Both accused parties were released from custody and are to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia at a later date. Additionally, the driver has had their licence suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for 7 days.
