Driver Charged With Impaired After Collision In Port Carling

The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged another driver with impaired after a collision.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 4:40 a.m., Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision that occurred on Medora Street near Armstrong Point Road in Muskoka Lakes Township. The driver left the roadway and struck a retaining wall, fortunately there were no injuries sustained. Police arrived and subsequently arrested and charged 29-year-old Kishan Patel of Halifax, NS with Impaired Operation and Over 80. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 15, 2026 to answer to his charges.
